Protective covers for when the camera is in storage, or something to protect the lens while the camera is in use?

 

The outer. Covers that go over the protective lens, what you can do is. Make two holes with a band strap it around. Or sock it, a babies sock. never had gorilla Tempered glass on mine and no cover but agree protect the outer lens.

I looked but didn't see one that was just a cover for the lens itself.

Here is what I have now. Covers that go over the lens itself. They don't stay on hardly at all. They want to fall off all the time. I just would like to have a plain ol cap that will stay on.

Yes, I have looked around the internet but I'm afraid if I purchase more caps, they'll be just like the ones I have now and not work. That's why I came here to see if you guys have seen or have lens covers that really work.

 

Just put the one you have on with a rubber band round it to keep it in place?

All I'm looking for is a lens protective cover that will stay on the camera when not in use. As I said the covers I have now just won't stay on well enough to do much good. Lost one once and went back to find it. Took me awhile to locate it.

 

then simply take the one you have or purchase another one with a lanyard, and band it, or use a baby sock, the most expensive or cheapest are just about the same. if a lens max mod is used they clip on better the one that is offered by the manufacturer. good luck.
