Hello there, I was curious if anyone knows where the microphone is located on the original Hero and if anyone has had any luck capturing decent audio with it?

I do not own an original Hero but based on my searches it is located at the top left of the camera opposite the shutter button.
http://cbcdn1.gp-static.com/uploads/product_manual/file/278/UM_HERO_ENG_REVB_WEB.pdf as per manual this is the hero 2014, understanding you are after the original it may be located on top or the side
it looks like its got 2 to me, one as Kareem says opposite the shutter button on the top. But it also looks like one next to the SD card slot on the card
