Just wondering why most Go Pro settings produce the fish eye effect. I use the linear setting to get my videos as natural as possible. Can't shoot RAW without fish eye?

you have bought yourself an action cam that its biggest selling point is its wide angle lens.

If you wanted waterproof cam that does not have fisheye lens you could have gone for sony rx0 II or Olympus TG-6 , both pretty amazing cameras that take nice photos and good video. Nowadays you can find different cams to suit your needs

Well now I know. I didn't do a lot of research. They had a $!00 off deal, so I went for it. I'm getting past the action age, but I'll still make use of the Go Pro capabilities. I'll have to change the way I look at the results.

I'm surprised that someone has not come out with a snap on lens cover slight telephoto conversion for the newest GoPro. I know that focus might become an issue with such an addon gadget, but it might be fun for some folks.
