Did you find a way to do it? I have android but want to do the exact same thing, go from camera direct to cloud through the phone, preferably connected with a cable so that I dont need to fiddle with the micro SD.
Most instructions on the net assume that you want to offload data from the phone to a USB connected device, not the other way around....
