i have a GoPro 3 Plus Black .. as of un update to latest firmware

when i turn it on
and start filming
it stops filming after 5 seconds ... missed so many great videos before i realized it

second time you press to record it records fine

is this a known issue?

what could be causing it?

how can i solve it?
downgrade?

I had similar issues with GoPro 5 session, starting to record a video and then hit the button or a voice command to stop and it says "lost connection" and my video disappears.
