I very recently got my GoPro and I'm still figuring out how to use it. I did a star trail (here:
) and I really like how it came out. It was filmed in my parents' garden where we don't have a dark sky. Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) will be at it's brightest on 1.2.23 when I will be in rural Cornwall with a dark sky. I really want to catch the comet with star trail. Is it possible? Has anyone managed it? The comet will be passing through the Camelopardalis so obviously that's where I'll centre my camera but is there anything else I can do to increase my chance of being able to see the comet in the video?
