Hello all,
I took my new Hero 9 out and did some test footage on a hike in different lighting, different resolutions/frame rates, etc. just to get a feel for it. Watching videos before going out, I gathered that I should do sharpness at low and add the sharpness in post-processing, same with flat colors vs GoPro Color.
The color I was able to correct fairly well in post-processing, but I cannot for the life of me get the sharpness to look decent at all. I've tried doing it in DaVinci Resolve and watched a few good videos on what the different sharpness settings in there do, but literally nothing I do gives me a 4k/5k looking result. When I look at my iPhone videos that I took side by side, I prefer the iPhone with the sharpness. Does anyone have any good tips for sharpening low sharpness Hero 9 footage? What do you do to make it look professional and high resolution? Any tips at all are appreciated!
