This was my first ever flight with my new Phantom with go pro attached. Not the most interesting of locations, but I wanted a big open space for my first attempt. Sorry the quality is so poor, I have no idea what happens to it once its uploaded to youtube:crying:

Excellent job. do not rush into it, and you will do fine.

You did an excellent job, especially for first flights. Practice and the practice some more.
My advice and its purely intended to make your learning curve shorter: Practice stick movements. Sloooooow, and slooooow. Don't get into the habit of quick lever movements. Slow movements will keep the quad in more of a level flight mode. On take offs, always try to get to 4 or 5 ft altitude quickly. Any quad flying very close to the ground presents a ground effect you have to fight. Once a few feet off the ground all you have to worry about is wind speed.
I envy your skill in flying the quad right out of the box. I spent a lot of time replacing props and it was a long time before I trusted my GoPro to it in flight :)
