Hello Go Pro community. I am considering purchasing a Hero 11, helmet chin mount and Smart Remote in order to take pictures on my off road motorcycle adventures. I’m not interested so much in the video aspect but I would like to be able to snap pics along the way without pulling over, removing gloves etc. as I will be riding with a group. I have some questions that I can’t seem to find out…
1. How long to fire up camera With remote? Will I end up missing the scenic shot?
2. If there is quite a delay can the camera be in standby mode to speed things up?
3. How long will the batteries on the remote. And camera last doing this?
The reason I wanted to go with the Smart remote as opposed to “The Remote” is the favourites button. This way I can use the red record button to start recording and the favourites to snap pictures without fiddling with mode buttons while I am riding.
