Thats pretty cool...I have heard of people tieing a foam beer hugger to theirs for that reason.....

I always tie a safety cord to mine when I use it on the boat.....just in case the suction cup mount, or the 3M tape gives up.

Took mine Sky Diving on my first Tandum Jump last weekend.....I don't know what you could do to make that a safe bet....

Maybe give it its own parachute?...lol......and a homing device to track it down?

Sorry to hear about your loss. We designed and developed Go Float It! over a year ago just for that reason. Stemming from our action sports video business where we used over a dozen Heros everyday in the surf. It's simple to use and it works. Includes a EVA float with vinyl coating, 3M double stick adhesive tape, detachable lanyard, instructions and free shipping. $14.95. Check out www.gofloatit.com.

Aloha,

Billy
