I purchased a Hero6 a few months ago, but have only used it a couple of times. I typically shoot 24 fps Linear set to Flat in Protune and all other settings to default and Stabilization on. I have a 3+ Black that I've been using for years with a handheld 3-axis gimbal that's always been reliable. I realize the 6 stabilization won't be as good as a motorized gimbal. That being said, the first time I took my new 6 out I shot at 24 fps handheld using a Handler and when I downloaded the footage into my editor I noticed any panning left to right or vice versa would jump as if skipping frames. Panning up and down seemed fine. I took it out this past weekend and shot with the same Handler and Protune settings but at 60 fps to see if that would smooth out the panning. BTW, the video that I'm shooting is nothing more than walking - think vacation video. So the 60 fps was 'better', but there were still instances of this skipping though not as predominant. Any ideas what this might be?

Thanks in advance.
