Hi all,

I'm new to the forum, but a long time gopro user. I'm currently battling an issue with my Hero 5 shutting down while recording. I'm an avid angler and I like to record my fishing adventures, so my setup is the hero 5, a 128gb sd card, and I have a power pack attached that will give me 12 hours of recording. Saturday while out on the lake I had a phenomenal day of catches, sadly several of them were missed due to the camera not recording, even though I had started it recording and never manually turned it off. Is there a setting somewhere that will auto send the camera into shut off mode that I am missing? Also why does the camera break up my session into little fragments as opposed to one giant long running video file? Would the individual video files being saved cause the camera to shut off after it saves them? Sorry for the bombardment of questions, but I'm in a real pickle here. Thank you all in advance for the support!
