Has anyone used this for choreographed dance, or zumba? I would love to use this for both but have no clue which accessory to buy. If I use the chest mount, my arms will cross the camera. The head mount may not capture my reflection in the mirror while i'm dancing.

Thoughts?;)

all i can suggest is give them a try, head mount's cost £3 & chest mounts around £5 off ebay. Give them a try & see what you think, you could use footage from both mounts & edit it together if your not fully happy

Welcome Aboard Jlo888..

If you are going to use the cam as an action cam and Dance, wearing it, in any way it will be seen on you..

You will want to set the scene where, you can angle the camera, out of the picture. so you can see yourself or others dancing. This is where wifi, Iphone/droid and a tripod comes into play. With a swivel screen camera, or any camera with a lcd view, you can see that on the spot.

You will want a tripod, as one accessory, while with older gopro's you would get a head strap mount, in a kit.

You have options to mount the cam, angled over you on a ceiling fan, light etc. Tripod set up in front, to the side ....

Personally if it was on me and I was jumping and dancing. It be just that, key to excellent video is planning and slow pans.

Just wanted to add to the note...

Again Welcome aboard

Yea, either you dance with the GO Pro strapped to you to get a 1st person perspective or you set up the Go Pro to the side at the right angle to catch you dancing. Depends how tall your mirror is. A head cam would get in the way less probably and as long as your mirror was tall enough you would still see everything.

welcome aboard! I would say a head mount would lead to a shaky camera from all the bouncing around. Give it a shot and show us whats up :D
