Hello to all the forum, I have a problem with my camera, basically once I insert a battery with 100% charge within a maximum of 3 days if I try to turn on the camera the battery is completely flat, I contacted the support, they made me update the fw via SD card and effectively the thing has improved, before it barely reached 2 days.
I specify that I use the original double charger and I have 4 original batteries practically used about ten times and the test were done with these, it goes without saying that I tried both with microsd inserted and micorsd removed.

For completeness of information, I disabled wifi, gps, voice control, etc...but the problem is the same.

How long does a battery last you when your Hero 9 is off? is normal the time of my camera drianing?

Advice?
Thanks for any replies

Alex from Rome.

did you shut down wireless connection.. do a simple txt dc name it factory_reset, when placed in to your camera it will reset the camera and then decline GPS and skip wifi and only do it via the default, and still got the issue request a replacement camera but get them to send you some free bats too

Hello and thanks for your availability, my wifi, bluetooth, voice control, quick capture connections have all been disabled from the menu for a long time
But how long does the battery last in the hero9 when it is completely turned off?

If I leave my Hero7 Black turned off and stored, the battery will be dead the next time I get it out. Must be a parasitic load in there somewhere.
Extra batteries are cheap. The charger for two batteries is not expensive. So I keep two extra batteries in the charger, charged up. Unplug the charger and the batteries
don't drain. One way to keep a charged battery on hand.
I've added a "digipower re-fuel action pack" to my set up. It's a battery itself that keeps the camera battery fully charged as long as the digipower battery has charge. Only then does
the camera battery begin being used.

Hi Pelps,
this is a solution but it is not the normal solution, now I contacted the support I explained the problem and they proceed with the replacement of the product, hoping that the next one will not have problems too...
Thanks Anyway for the reply.;)

Hi everyone,
Just to update the thread and maybe help, the go pro 9 arrived yesterday and they replaced me even if out of warranty, I immediately did a check for battery consumption when the camera is off, well, a whole other thing inserted the battery yesterday evening at 11 Pm with 96% charge, checked today at 11 AM battery charged at 94%.
So I can say with certainty that the anomalous discharge when it was off was because the camera was faulty.
Gopro assistance as always amazing, camera replaced in a working week.

The warranty expired 3 months ago but there was no problem replacing it..
Very very very good...the camera is coming not in a carton box but in original gopro black case, the one they give when you buy the camera the first time.
