Go Pro 9 doesn't save videos

This is very annoying, I have a brand new camera and I discovered when is below 30% of battery the majority of the videos and photos are not being saved.

I just start recording, stop recording like any other video and, when you to go gallery to see your just recorder video you can not because the gallery is not being accessible, the screen just freezes and no gallery is being shown (At that moment is that I know that the camera is not going to save anything that I am recording), turn it off and on, go to the gallery (hopefully this time is going to open) that no video has saved.

Those are the reproduce steps that I could found, but a normal user would record as always, go home to see the videos, and will find the surprise that all the footage is lost forever.

Is any trick or thing that I can do to solve this besides go and return a video camera recorder that doesn't record videos?

if you are able to return it then do so, H9 is garbage literaly.
I do own one , and for my intents and purposes it seems usable, so i havent given up on it just yet.

The amount of bugs and issues are just piling up.
I accidentally filmed a video using a time lapse during which the resulting footage was reverted to normal
thanks for sharing your notes. you the User will need to next time make sure you are correctly set up. mistakes happen.

Did you find a way to fix this in the end? I'm having the exact same issue, none of my videos get saved anymore and the gallery just freezes when I try to open it
Please note: Bad SD Cards are an extremely common problem for GoPro cameras. You should only use a card approved for your camera from this list. I have read similar issues in the GoPro community and everyone has suggested to try another card, Re: Hero 9 randomly not saving files.
Sometimes, the videos are just hidden in the SD card and you can find those using various methods on your computer. You can use a video recovery program to retrieve those missing files. Check this out to know more information, How to Find My Pictures Disappeared from SD Card
