First Cinematic Video with GoPro Hero 9

We took the GoPro on our first road trip from Colorado to Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri, and I wanted to attempt my first cinematic video using the footage I captured. I'm not sure that I did a great job and think maybe I need some more slo-mo footage to get the feel that I was wanting, but I'll take what I learned and apply it to the next one.

Do you have any other suggestions for how I can achieve a more cinematic feel?

Key settings:
4k 60fps capture
4k 30fps final product
Flat Colors
Medium Sharpness
High Bitrate

It looks as if you had a lot of fun. A couple of suggestions, one is that it is too long. One can only watch so much landscape as you zip by. You never mentioned which GoPro you were using. I would have included some narration, commentary, or sound bytes. For instance, driving by a cornfield, and telling how exciting it is to see an actual cornfield where Orville Redenbacher grows his popcorn. Each time you film a scene talk about what makes it so great. One other suggestion would be to make your pans sloooow. CMOS sensors can make your pans jerky, so when you move the camera left or right, make it slow. You can speed it up in post.

Thanks for the reply! The title mentioned that I was using a GoPro Hero 9 for this filming. Panning is something that I'm definitely still trying to get better at... no matter how slow I go, it's still too fast! I'll get there eventually... And yeah, I agree that I need to be better about having commentary. Thought about it at the beginning of the trip and then never again..

You've confirmed a lot of the same feelings that I had about it after I was done, so thank you again!

One thing I did forget to mention -- it was all filmed in Linear + Horizon Leveling.
