I have a Hero 10 and have a problem in FCPX with 16:9 clips. My GoPro 10 settings are 5.3 60fps 1/120ss Wide. Resolution 5760 x 2880 Frame Rate 59.94. Couple things I don't understand;
1) Aspect ratio of 16:9 is cropped in the Viewer but, as I hover over it in the Browser, the aspect of 16:9 is correct. I'm sure it's due to being an odd frame rate.
2) I don't understand why the frame rate isn't showing up as 60? FCPX states that it needs to be set under Custom in which I did so but, no luck.
I'm on a new loaded MacBookPro M1 Max with FCPX being ver. 10.6.1. If you have any idea's what's going on, I'd sure appreciate it. Thanks, Ray

Got it!! It's actually 5312 x 2988 / 59.94 and now it looks correct at 16:9 in the Viewer. I don't know why it showed differently earlier??? Now I have another question; Since I had to create a Custom Project and these GoPro clips are 5.3k / 59.94, how can I confirm what resolution my timeline is? Also, If I want to mix other clips from another camera that is 4k / 60fps in the same timeline, will they play good together? Normally, I would just create a 4k timeline but, in this situation I'm a little lost. Oh... OH That was two more questions.... 🤔🤔
