hello! I have recently bought a hero 7 black and bought it because I’ll be taking it to Bali in December. So, I thought of testing it at my friends bachelorette weekend getaway. I was able to record quite a few videos. However, when I got home, I connected the microsd connector to my laptop and download all the content saved. I only saw a handful were able to be seen via QuickTime and the rest could not be read/opened. The files are .MP4. I have a MacBook Air that I bought either 2011 or 2013. I am hoping to see if anyone had this issue and how I can fix it. I would appreciate the help greatly! Thank you!

Update the MacBook to the latest OS it can handle.
The file format (although using the MP4 handle) used by the GoPro is newer and not readable by Quicktime in older OS's.

Alternatively download VLC Media Player - that plays everything you can throw at it and is much better then Quicktime!
