It seems the SD card reader on my laptop is no longer working as I have tried 2 cards and nothing is happening. So, I need to transfer files another way. I have tried connecting the gopro to my laptop using the gopro cable but it doesn't give me an option to transfer files. The GoPro just says USB CONNECTED and my laptop says nothing at all.

I then tried to bluetooth/wifi the files across but my laptop does not see the gopro hotspot.

What can I do? My SD card is almost full and I have lots of filming to do tomorrow!

If your computer does not see your GoPro WiFi then you can try to switch to 2.4GHz WiFi mode (directly in the GoPro camera settings). If you are using a Hero 8 or newer then you have to manually enable WiFi (for this you need the Quik app or some other 3rd party tools such as the Camera Tools for GoPro software). As an alternative you can also use the Camera Tools via USB if you have Hero 8, 9, or 10.
