I was able to fix the issue with my GoPro while transferring the files from the camera to the computer. There might be a possibility that your computer is not communicating adequately with the GoPro camera. You should Remove the microSD card and battery (if applicable) for a few moments before reconnecting the camera to the computer. Then, try connecting the camera to another computer. Restart the computer and try again.
