Hi, sorry if this has been asked before by I have footage on my GoPro 11 and can t work out how to play it on my TV. The only port on my GoPro is a type c. I tried using and hdmi cable, from the tv to an adapter and then into the GoPro but it didn’t work.
All advice would be great please

Hero 7 and under are the only allowed standalone to play off the camera.

Hero 8 requires a Media Module
Hero 9., 10, 11 require a Media Module

remove the sdxc card,place to a usb reader and watch that route

There could be several reasons why you're having trouble playing your GoPro 11 footage on your TV. Make sure your TV supports the video format of your GoPro 11 footage, Ensure that you have connected your TV and GoPro using an HDMI cable, also, check your TV's settings to make sure that it is set up to receive input from the HDMI port you are using.
It is necessary to make sure your GoPro 11 and your TV have the latest firmware updates installed.

And do I need a card reader or can I just play directly from the camera? And do I need specific connector for the hdmi or does the media mod have an hdmi port?
