Hero3 Black and iPhone app. All software is updated as of today. When using the iPhone app I get significant audio feedback/distortion. No audio issues with included remote without any at all. Any ideas?
Turn off or turn down the audio of the iPhone. Yes it gets in a loop. There are background sounds picked up by the camera and played 3-4 seconds later (wi-fi delay) on the iPhone via the application and that is picked up by the camera back to the iPhone, etc, etc.
The same will occur if you play video on a TV while hooked to the camera. There is a period of time when the camera is live on the TV. Camera hears something, the TV repeats it and another feedback is created. Turn the volume off on the TV while live and turn it back on when showing a previously recorded video on the camera.
