Hi does anyone know if an action cam can be used to film inside a dishwasher during a wash cycle? (obviously the camera would need to be in a waterproof housing). If so what temperature setting would be advisable. I want to check that it is cleaning items properly and there are no spots it is missing due to poor plate and bowl stacking on my part. Thanks.

This is a series question and was prompted by me watching a TV show in the UK that featured footage shot inside a dishwasher during a wash cycle.

you'll need a waterproof light that is one.

I am aware of two main problems.
One of which is providing a light source inside my dishwasher
Securing the camera so its not dislodged by a water jet.

I can start on a low temperature setting.

Am I missing anything else and has anyone tried this?

Someone out there must have tried or considered this?

thanks.

I think that is doable and I will have look for a water proof torch.

With hindsight maybe I should have posted this is the diving section of the forum but felt a bit silly.
