Boznoz I have the first model of remote back from when i owned Hero 3+ , and the only issue i have now is that it doesnt hold much charge anymore. I often use it while kayaking and it works .

Jatekman Hello and welcome to the forum!
Glad to hear that we will see some of you adventures, check the smart remote real well- there are many people around not satisfied because of the connection problem.

Ciao Rob

Greetings from Canberra, Aus

Have just bought a Hero 7 Black. Just gotten back into Motorbikes after 25 years away from them but am interested in using the GoPro on other adventures as well. Using Premier Elements to edit and will post my first effort later today. Currently investigating whether the smart Remote is worth it. Ig I can mount it to the handle-bar of the bike, it will make for much selective filming. Cheers !
