blank file with question mark

gopro hero 3 silver
not sure of fw
PC
Win10Pro
gopro quick 2.7.0.945

I have one file that was downloaded that doesn't have a preview of the video and has question mark in the file icon...whenever I click on it, it slows everything down and I wind up having to restart. tried searching for this but the search function wasn't helpful, or is could've been operator error. I have the gopro quik app set up to delete files off the sd card after they've been downloaded so there's no way to get them off the micro sd card...thank you in advance.

Question mark according to the manual is a unsupported or damaged file. Did htey do repair files on the Hero 3?

to get rid of files of any camera is to format the card in the camera.

Can one repair the file with video repair
