Billet Aluminum GoPro Mounting System

Tired of your plastic mounts breaking and you destroying your GoPro camera? Tired of having to buy another GoPro because yours was lost or broken during an accident? Everyone loves their GoPro's and the great footage they provide us during our extreme sporting activities, but the downfall is the more extreme the sport the greater the risk of the plastic mounts breaking and you losing not only a perfectly good GoPro camera, but in a lot of cases, all the great footage you had on the camera.

We know of people who have gone thru 3, 4, 5+ cameras a year because of them being ruined due to them breaking off during an accident, fall, crash, etc.

We developed the enV system after careful analysis of the weak point on the current GoPro setup. Our unique and precise cradle system distributes the forces and will reduce break-aways by 95%.

The enV system will be available in December and has gone thru 100+ hours of testing on 900HP Sprint Cars, Motorcycles, Jet Skis, Bikes and more. Kasey Kahne Racing (KKR) used them extensively during the World of Outlaws November World Finals in Charlotte - check out some footage https://vimeo.com/53187632

Head over to Facebook, Like Us, and see the system up close or visit our website for more info.

We are right in the midst of a production run, delayed a bit due to Hurricane Sandy, but we would like to hear from you. If you have interest in an enV system mount, please shoot us an email - info[at]envsystem.com. No obligations, just would like some feedback as we might increase the production run based off interest.

Thanks

I didn't see any pricing. How much will the system sell for? Will mounts for different size tubing be available?

The current bar mount is not

The current bar mount is not just for 1 size of tubing, it will handle a range of sizes. Retail for a full kit will be $389.00 USD. A Full Kit will include the enV cradle to hold the GoPro camera, the enV bar mount which can accommodate bar sizes from 3/4" - 2", armature piece and custom enV wrench.

You are correct, there are a

You are correct, there are a bunch of "aluminum mounts" cheaper, but that is exactly what they are... just mounts. Aluminum mounts are stronger then the plastic ones, but the issue is not the mount itself, but the connection - the whole unit when put together. Not really solving anything if the mount survives a crash, fall or accident and the camera breaks off and is lost or broken.

GoPro's have a weak point, the connection between camera case and mount with those 2 plastic tabs. Countless numbers of these cameras break off and are destroyed because the 2 plastic tabs snap off under force.

Our system eliminates the 2 plastic tabs as a load bearing connection. The enV cradle wraps around the camera case body and the entire precise system is made from solid, top grade aluminum. The cradle also distributes forces across its body instead of those 2 small tabs.

We have been in development of this system since March 2012 and started testing prototypes in July. We had not 1 failure, even when mounted on the outside of a 900HP race car that was getting hit by dirt and mud at over 130 mph. Actually, the mount never even budged. The enV system came back in perfect shape after the race and another GoPro mounted using the regular plastic attachments lasted only 5 mins before the camera was ripped off and destroyed.

We realize this will not be the perfect answer for everyone, but it is an option. Though they might be more expensive then others, they will pay for themselves if you don't have to buy a 2nd, 3rd or 4th GoPro camera because yours snapped off and was broken. Besides the camera, think of the lost footage as well that cannot be replaced.

Thanks for the feedback

GoPro Mounts

The mounts that come with the GoPro are terrible! I've broken two mounts on a road bike. Riding on asphalt. What a joke. I will never buy any mounts from GoPro themselves as they are of very poor quality!
