Pairing multiple GoPro 5 Cameras with Smart Remote and GoPro App

Pairing multiple GoPro 5 Cameras, smart remote, and GoPro App.

I have GoPro Hero5 Black
Hero5 Session

I want the Hero5 Black to work only with my Smart Remote

I want the Hero5 Session to work only with GoPro App.

In the past, as Iím trying to learn this, I had paired both cameras with both the Smart Remote and the GoPro App. Probably a mistake.

How do I unpair the undesired devices with the appropriate remote and the app?

Thanks! Gary

Thanks You!

I think I may have stumbled upon a solution. Different from what I was thinking of, but accomplished the same end goal. Here's notes I wrote. These may not make sense, but works for me, I think.

---------------------------

* * * Using Two GoPro Cams at One Time

Be sure Hero5 Black has connection to Smart Remote.
Slide down on back screen
Tap ‘Connect’. Smart Remote should show connected.

Hero5 Session
Connection Setting On

Turn both GoPros off.

Turn on Smart Remote and both cam’s should turn on.
Turn on GoPro App and connect to Session.
On App I should see what the Session sees.

I can use Smart Remote to start and stop recording on both cam’s and to power them off.

--------------------

Any other suggestions or anything I may be missing?

Thanks, Gary
