Will the adhesive mounts stick to a soft surfboard?

I have several Beater Boards (soft 54 " surf boards) that I would like to attach my GoPro mounts to. The surface is semi soft. Any one have any issues with the adhesive coming loose?
Thanks,
John

Beater Boards are made by Catch Surf in case some are not familiar with the construction of the boards. I have seen several Stand Up Paddle Boards that are made of the same material.

Aquarium selicon, a bead round he mount vs the whole bottom. they make a surfers mount cleaning is key. to make a better adhesive connection. if it is bumpy I go with the aquarium selicone
