Stupidly I recently put a 64gb memory card into my hero 2 instead of my other camera (which uses them without problems) then recorded some important footage on it.
The card is full because it ran with the extra battery pack but it will not read the footage on my computer or allow me to download it.
I know the footage is there because it plays fine on the GoPro itself on the lcd screen but when you try to make a computer recognize it it just says footage corrupted please format card. Obviously formating the card is the last thing I want to do until I have the footage backed up.
I have tried putting the card in a card reader but get the same thing - it says its full if you right click properties but won't let you download or save in anyway or even play the footage. I've tried it in XP and windows 7 on two machines - no joy.
Any ideas folks? I just need to get this footage off safely.
Thanks
John
