GoPro Hero2 lost over 8 months

I lost my GoPro Hero2 April 30th 2015 when my Drone it was strapped to decided to go back to China. I looked for it for 2 weeks before giving up. My only hope was a Deer hunter might find it and call(I had my name address and phone number on it). Well last Thursday 1-7 2016 I got the call. I have found your drone. Keep in mind I did not have the waterproof case on the camera and it had been in the rain heat and Alabama humidity all this time. To my amazement I installed a charged battery and IT STILL WORKS! The only problem it has is sometimes the shutter button won't work. Anyway GoPro makes good stuff! I am going to try and post some pictures of it. Thanks GoPro! Larry

Very cool story. How did the Drone endure being in the weather that long?

Cheers,
Charlie

The Drone didn't do as well as the camera. I think the Flight Controller module is bad but I do have some spare parts now including the brushless motors still run!

It did take video until the drone ran out of battery and crashed. It even kept taking another 20 min. after the crash. I can't post pictures or video until I have 10 post per moderator.

Here's some video I got from the SD card. As you can see there is a pond behind my house and I was afraid that's where it had landed.
