Fish,

This is the same question I sent you via PM. will post it here so others can see your response.

"I have a question about the settings on your Hero4 for that video. Did you have the spot meter on? Did you have it set to low lighting? The videos are very clear and even in the darkest parts of your walking tour I could still make everything out just fine.

Thanks Charles appreciate the question:

On Video 19 the clip was about a Scavenger hunt sunrise, the only dark part of that clip was what is called the Celler, and the MDR. All other clips I am out at 11:PM walking the top Deck with three camera's The Hero 4 Sesson, Hero 4 BE and Sony HX90V.

My Setting for the Hero 4 Black Edition for that shot was in Video only 4K resolution. Protune OFF. FPS 30. Auto light N/A Exactly what you see in the Thumbnail. No other adjustments, in a matter of fact I left the 4K throughout the trip. I did change it once and made a mistake not changing it back to about a few clips later. I then never adjusted again. I most likely did say somewhere in a clip what I did?

I felt the last time I was onboard all my shots did not come out well due to the low light. this time. all were perfect if asked. I have no clue what they look like in 4K And hope to be watching them real soon in 4K?

For the Hero 4 Session I more or less kept the cam on 1080P 30fp all left alone, My Sony Cybershot HX90V on X-AVC-S the highest quality.

Also I used a highest sdxc card on the market, I used to believe a card made no difference. Let the video tell the story I now say.

I filled up the card not at all on the trip each day. Lets say 75%. because I shot with three camera's 500gb of video & stills.
I watch what you want to watch, and check out some of the clips and you be shocked in the quality... I will be trying to capture all who waved, said hello, and who stopped me for a montage, and I have a lot more video coming.

thanks Guys and Gals this is how a video section topic should look like not just one video and run
