Hero 3 Blue light

Can anyone tell me what that blue blinking light is? And it stays blinking for awhile Even after powered off

i think that means that your

i think that means that your WIFI it is ON. acording to my understing
u just need to press the small button on your left side of your cam for few seconds it will sitch off
and u can do the oposite if you want to turn your wifi on

For some reason, everytime I try to switch off the wifi by pressing the left button for the few second, the wifi is still on. I ended up have to switch it off within the gopro menu wifi option (

When you press the button on

When you press the button on the left for wifi you have to do a couple things in the on screen menu to turn it off.

Turn off wifi

Hold the wifi button until the blue light flashes 7 times. It should turn off.... HTH!!!!

Even though you power off the

Even though you power off the red light, the WIFI remains on (blue light blinking), so that you can still control the camera with your iPad or Iphone. This allows you to remotely still control the camera if need it be.

In order to kill the blue light, hold the WIFI button down for a count of 3 or 4 and it will turn off.

if it's still in good condition, i guess it because it still has some remaining electrical current storage in capacitor. and that's my wild guess. usually, it will take time to discharge all electricity or power but good if you have a good grounding. however, i still suggest you see an expert or better bring your gadgets to where you bought it as it might still has warranty.
