Not sure if you can, but you can split the video separate from the gauges, so in theory you could put the gauges on a green background or something. I'm still playing around with it. I just created a video of just the gauges on a black background.

RRLC file export Data profile.

not sure if that is what you are after I tried to get a video working and its just is overlays nothing so far. for me stuttuers on playback but again its the free program I am using to. I do not see a simple save data or export data file.

When you open the GoPro video file and it asks the question about using that gpx data, it automatically creates a file, not sure what else can be done with that file yet.

HELP, it didn't ask me about the gpx. When I clicked to add the video all it asked was do i want to join the other chapters to it. When I played the video then on RaceRender it had no data & the dials stayed at 0

Hope my quick explanation makes sense.

Cheers!
Have you ever try the garmin virb edit?

Tried, but it does not recognize the GPS data embedded in the GoPro video for me.

Ok here is y workflow so far, lets see if we can get this racerender to do what we need.
1) open racerender, select template
2) select GoPro video from drive, at which time a message appears saying "this file appears to contain embedded GPS or other telemetry data. Would you like to extract the data and add it to your project?" I select yes
Once I do that it now has a video input and data input file.
3) I then can change the input video file to none again, to get only the gauges or change the. Input file completely to another video.

It also does PIP, any a lot of gauge choices. Here's another test with different gauges and PIP

Just need to figure out if I can export the gauges using a green background and then import into another video editor.

right, mystery solved. With RaceRender, if you have a long video that's more than 1 chapter/file long it won't ask you about the GPS data, it only asks if you want to join the other chapter/files

& i tried using the GPS data file RaceRender created into DashWare, but it doesn't accept it
