Thanks for posting the older software but is this because someone requested it already or is the older software better in some ways?

Hey thanks for posting this link. For the life of me, I can't seem to get GoPro Studios 2 working - it crashes every time right after the tutorial. A black box appears and then the exe crashes for unknown reasons.

Just downloaded and installed this version - it works fine. What gives with version 2.0?

Thanks for posting this link, would save me a lot of time as soon, as I can see the link itself.

I've exactly the same problems using version 2, the software ALLWAYS crashes, tried already so many things from forums... The newest version (Quik) is working fine one one of my PCs (on the other it doesn't) but it doesn't recognise my BacPac. Without this, I'm not able to do a firmware upgrade on the BacPac and on the Remote. Without this I'm not able to use the BacPac (neither with the cam, nor with the App, nor with the Remote).

Thank you GoPro, it's sooooooo easy to use your stuff, how professional! [/irony off]

Problems solved, thank you!!

Dear "Fish",

Thank you soooo much!!! THIS was the solution! Hope so many other frustated ones can find this here... All is working fine now, just thanks of using an old version of this GoPro Studio. Connecting to the BacPac, Firmware upgrade of the BacPac and also the Firmwareupgrade OTA(!) of the remote controll was no problem at all (well, the registration is just accepted for some single seconds after startup of the studio, afterwards it wants to register again, but if you're fast enough it really works!).

And hey, after some other, minor problems connecting to the Android App even this is working fine now!

So happy, this took me more than 10 hours to solve all those problems. It started first with a leaked battery of the BacPac (if you're skilled, you are able to replace it by this one by yourself:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/lipo...a-d5fe2c4f763b
or if not existing, just go to Aliexpress and look for "lipo batteries 403035").

Then the much bigger problems with non existing drivers, crashing application of the Studio 2, no connection to the BacPac with Quik, pairing issues,... And the solution was just using an old version of the Studio. Thanks soooo much "Fish", really!

Just by the way: I'm using the Hero 2 together with the WIFI BacPac and the remote control.

Just happy at the moment!
Edi
